Fanatec just posted a very interesting update regarding a recent change in tariffs. Just over a month ago, they had to make the tough decision to raise prices in the US due to higher import tariffs. Now, they're happy to announce that those tariffs have been reduced — and as a result, they’ve lowered prices again for customers in the US and Canada.
They also acknowledged that this might be frustrating for those who purchased during the higher pricing period, so they’re offering two options:
Option 1: A Refund
Fanatec is offering a full refund of the price difference to anyone who bought items at the increased prices. If you made a purchase during that time, you’ll automatically receive the difference back to the payment method you used at checkout — as long as you're in the US or Canada. Other regions were not affected.
Option 2: A 25% Discount Code
If you prefer, you can choose a one-time 25% discount for any single order at fanatec.com. There are absolutely no restrictions on what you can buy with this discount, so if you've been eyeing some new gear, this could be the perfect opportunity. The 25% discount is active for six months.
This offer applies to all purchases made on the Fanatec web store from April 7 to May 18, 2025.
On top of that, Fanatec has started shipping the new Gran Turismo DD Pro with the QR2 upgrade, now available in Europe, the US, and Canada. This is an upgrade from the older QR1 system to the new QR2.
All in all, this is a great move from Fanatec and shows their commitment to supporting their customers.
