The new Gran Turismo 7 Online Time Trial goes live on 28 May 2026 and runs for the usual two weeks, ending on 11 June 2026. This round is a one-make kart challenge, the Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 Shifter around Eiger Nordwand, and the early pace is already brutal.
Karts at Eiger Nordwand is a properly different challenge. No aero, no setup tweaks to hide behind, just raw mechanical grip and the alpine elevation throwing your braking points all over the place. If you've been grinding road and Gr.3 Time Trials lately, this one will feel completely fresh.
What to Expect
The current world-best is sitting at 1:08.599. For a kart on a circuit with this much elevation change, that's a committed pace, and the gold target is going to be tight.
Final Thoughts
Eiger Nordwand in the Racing Kart 125 Shifter looks like a proper grinder, fast, technical, and unforgiving in all the ways a kart usually is. Being a one-make makes it a pure test of driving, which I really like. No excuses, just pace.
