Gran Turismo 7 is back with another challenge, and this time we are heading to Tokyo Expressway East Counterclockwise in the Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo. The event starts on February 26 and runs for the usual two weeks.

This has already proven to be a very demanding combination. The walls are extremely close, mistakes are punished instantly, and even a small misjudgment can end your lap. Patience, precision, and a strong understanding of both the track layout and the car’s behavior will make a huge difference here.

It is the kind of event many drivers tend to avoid because of how unforgiving it feels. However, that is also what makes it attractive. There is a real sense of reward when you finally hook up a clean lap around this circuit.

The current fastest lap stands at 1:54.293, which is already very competitive. We expect this to improve significantly as the week progresses and more drivers explore the limits of both the car and the circuit. At the moment, gold is set at 1:57.1, but it would not be surprising to see that drop into the 1:56 range. If you are aiming for gold, keep a close eye on that target. The combo is running on Racing Hard tyres, which adds another layer of challenge in terms of grip and consistency.

Alongside this, we also have another community event based combination you can enter. Getting involved is simple. Click on the event, sign up, set a lap time on the leaderboard, and you are automatically entered for a chance to win.
