Five New Cars
The new additions cover everything from rugged classics to futuristic concepts:
Hyundai Elantra N ’23
The first N-line model in Gran Turismo 7 with an internal combustion engine. This facelifted Elantra comes with a dual-clutch automatic, front-wheel drive, and a turbocharged punch. Hyundai already fields a TCR racing version, so expect big wings, widebody kits, and sticker packs to match.
Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster 12R ’25
A Japan-only ultimate version of the beloved MX-5/Miata. This 2025-spec model gets 16 extra horsepower from a bespoke crankshaft, plus Brembo brakes, stronger chassis components, and a custom suspension tune. With badges, stickers, and aero tweaks, it is a purist’s dream.
Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo
The much-hyped electric supermini concept finally lands. Delivering a massive 788 BHP with dual motors and active aero, it is unlikely the real-world Corsa will ever match these specs. But in GT7, it represents Opel’s bold vision of high-performance electric racing.
Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40V ’74
A true off-road icon. Unlike the RAV4, this classic was built for durability and adventure. With its short wheelbase, rugged suspension, and legendary reliability, it is a community favorite waiting for creative GT Auto customizations and striking paint jobs.
Toyota RAV4 Adventure ’20
Perhaps the least anticipated, but it adds variety. This “Adventure” trim came with extra body cladding and a 2.5L petrol engine paired to an automatic transmission. Not the most exciting drive, but it could prove useful with tuning and adds another everyday crossover to the lineup.
New World Circuits Events
The five new cars come with a set of single-player races designed to showcase them:
• Sunday Cup – Sardegna Road Track C Reverse
• Japanese FR Challenge 450 – Suzuka Circuit
• Race of Turbo Sportscars – Watkins Glen Long Course
• Vision Gran Turismo Trophy – Nürburgring GP
• World Touring Car 700 – Alsace Village
Scapes: Bolivia
A new curation has been added to Scapes, letting players photograph their cars against the dramatic and desolate backdrops of Bolivia.
Other Changes
While this update does not include a new Café menu, extra books, or GT Sophy support, it is expected to bring the usual small tweaks and a handful of new engine swap options. Details will be included in the full patch notes once they are released.
Release Date
In a slight change from the usual schedule, Gran Turismo 7 update 1.63 launches on Wednesday, 24th September 2025, for both PS4 and PS5, rather than the usual Thursday release window. This update blends the old with the new, from the rugged FJ40 Land Cruiser to the futuristic Opel Vision Gran Turismo, ensuring that no matter what you love driving in GT7, there is something fresh to try.
