That stayed the same.

Force Feedback Max Torque: 6 or 7 (Depends on the car)
Force Feedback Sensitivity: 10

Feels fantastic wow night and day difference from just defaults. Do you use 5 torque or 6 torque typically for GR3 cars?

It depends on the car, but I would probably go with 6.

Are you still using 4 torque for Group 2 cars Digit?

On a 8nm wheelbase I would maybe go to 5 or 6. It really depends on what you like.

Which settings can you recommend for 5Nm?

I would just increase the Force Feedback Max Torque to a higher number, like 8 or 9 maybe.

That's only in the game, leave the base as is.

Do you mean I should keep the base on its default settings (as it was from new), or should I use the custom settings you wrote above and just increase the in-game Max Torque to 8 or 9?

You can try my settings but change in-game to 8 or 9. But use it only as a recommendation, of course you can change some settings and tweak to your liking.

Hello. I like your recommended settings of DD Pro 8um. How about settings of "dynamic FFB" in FANATEC application (FanaLab)? Should it be disabled to reduce lap times?

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure that setting makes much of a difference in terms of performance.

Hello,

Thank you very much for these settings.

I have the GT DD Pro 8 NM and and the BMW M3 GT2 V2.

Which settings would you recommend with this steering wheel ?

The ones at the top of the page  or the ones at the bottom of the page ?

The BMW is 32 cm in diameter.

Do you have any recommended settings for drifting?

Thank you in advance for your response and the follow-up you are doing on the settings 🙏

The settings don't change that often, but you can check my DD+ settings.

Hello,

Here are my 2026 settings for the GT DD PRO 8 NM with the BMW M3 GT2 V2 wheel

SEN  : AUTOMATIQUE

FFB : 100

FFS : PEAK

NDP : 20

NFR : 5

NIN : OFF

INT : 5

FEI : 90

FOR : 100

SPR : OFF

DPR : OFF

BLI : 100 (ADJUST TO YOUR PREFERENCES)

BRF : 60 (ADJUST TO YOUR PREFERENCES AND YOUR CRANKSET AND ITS SETTING)

V3 CRANKSET WITH PERFORMANCE KIT AND ELASTOMERS SET TO SOFT.

PEDAL SCREW SET TO MINIMUM FOR MAXIMUM PEDAL TRAVEL.

GRAN TURISMO 7 SETTINGS IN-GAME

Force Feedback Max Torque: 6 (Depends on the car, 3 for Gr.1, 4 for Gr.2, 5,6 for Gr.3, 7 for Gr.4)

Force Feedback Sensitivity: 1

There is clearly a difference in feel now in the force feedback sensitivity:

Signal fidelity

Setting 1: The game sends you the rawest and most "linear" tire physics. This is the closest signal to what the developers designed. You feel the micro-details (the exact moment the front tire bottoms out) without any artificial enhancement.

Setting 10: The game applies a kind of artificial "compression" or amplification. Everything becomes very (too) responsive. This creates digital "noise" that masks the true feel of grip.

Avoiding "Clipping"

At 10, the game emphasizes small effects so much that as soon as you enter a fast corner (like Raidillon at Spa), your base 8 Nm reaches its maximum immediately.

Result: The steering wheel becomes a flat, rigid bar. You lose all nuance between "it grips" and "I'm sliding." At 1, you retain enough leeway to feel weight shifts.

Center stability

The BMW GT2 steering wheel on the GT7 tends to wobble. At 10, this instability is multiplied tenfold. The steering wheel becomes twitchy and can start vibrating violently in a straight line. At 1, the steering wheel is much calmer and more planted.

Predictability (TCS 0)

If you drive without TCS, you need to feel the rear end break away progressively. The setting at 10 makes the force feedback too abrupt, which can cause you to overcorrect and spin out. At 1, the information arrives smoothly, giving you time to react.

That's it for my settings and explanations for the GT DD PRO, especially with the BMW M3 GT2 V2 wheel. The settings may vary with other wheels.

Let me know what you think and if you like these settings

👍😉
