I chatted with Fanatec customer support as well as their (former?) CEO Andres Ruff about pricing concerns.

From Andres:

Dear Christopher,
Too bad and sorry for that. But excellent quality and leadership technology has its price.

Dear Christopher,

Thank you for your email.

I regret to inform you that I am currently unable to provide specific information about this topic, as we have not yet received any updates. However, I remain optimistic that this situation will have a positive impact on pricing.

Really happy that I ordered the McLaren V2 this past December. $279 CAD with a standard QR2 (Not lite)

Now $569.99... Wow

I had my eye on the ClubSport Formula V2.5, but it more than doubled in price.

I just got into the Fanatec ecosystem with the GT DD bundle, but since I'm still within the return window I'm seriously considering returning everything and switching to Moza or Simagic.

Don't sell just yet, Moza and Simagic are both Chinese companies and unless the wheels are already imported into the country, you'll pay a massive amount.
