Competitions and prizes rules

How DG-EDGE competitions work: who can enter, how winners are chosen and how prizes are delivered.

Last updated: 26 October 2026.

These are the official rules for competitions and contests run on DG-EDGE: the monthly Showroom competition, the monthly Community Score (forum) competition, and any one-off contest that links to these rules. Each competition has its own page on DG-EDGE with its dates, theme and prizes. Those details, together with these rules, make up the rules of that competition.

Under the Croatian rules on prize games (Pravilnik o priređivanju nagradnih igara, NN 125/2025), competitions decided by points, by the fastest lap, or by a jury against criteria set in advance are not prize games and need no approval. A contest decided by random draw is a prize game, which needs the Ministry of Finance's approval and a formal public draw, so we do not run random draws. Our competitions and the three contest formats below award prizes on skill or judgement, not by chance. If you live outside Croatia, any mandatory rules of your country that protect you also apply.

Organiser

The organiser is Mihael Matika (hereinafter: Celeritas Digital), an obrt (sole trader), Monvidalska ulica 49 A, 52100 Pula, Croatia, OIB 35812520848, VAT ID HR35812520848, MB 98399730 (Obrtni registar, Pula), the owner and operator of DG-EDGE. Contact: digit@dg-edge.com.

If a partner sponsors a competition or gives a prize, the competition page names them. The organiser stays Celeritas Digital unless the page says otherwise. We never give your personal data to sponsors.

Details of each competition

Every competition page states:

Detail What the page says
Name and type For example "September Showroom Competition" (Showroom) or a Community Score (forum) competition
Period Start and end date and time. Monthly competitions run from the first to the last day of the month
Theme For Showroom competitions, an optional theme: a track, a car, a category or a concept
Prizes The prize for each winning place
Sponsor Any partner who sponsors the competition or gives a prize
Anything different Any rule for that competition that differs from these rules

Start and end times are in Central European Time (Croatian time, with summer time). The countdowns on the page show the times on your own clock.

If a competition page and these rules disagree, we decide which applies.

Who can enter

  • Anyone with a DG-EDGE account can enter, including the DG-EDGE team and staff. A free account is enough to upload to the Showroom and to like entries.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, as our Terms and conditions require for using DG-EDGE.
  • You can take part from outside Europe. Physical prizes are not shipped to some countries, currently Brazil; a winner there may be offered a different reward instead.
  • You can win more than once. Every month is a fresh leaderboard, so previous winners can win again the next month.

No purchase necessary

Entering the monthly competitions is free. You do not need Premium, the Masterclass or any other purchase to enter.

In the Community Score competition, some actions that earn points, such as organising a tournament, are Premium features.

How to enter

Showroom competitions

  1. While the competition is open, upload a new post to the Showroom.
  2. Switch on Enter the competition in the upload form.
  3. If the competition has a theme, choose the track, car or category that matches it. A post that does not match the theme cannot be entered.
  • Only posts uploaded and entered during the competition period take part.
  • Once a post is entered, the entry cannot be withdrawn and cannot be moved to another competition. You can still edit the post.
  • Only active posts are ranked. A post that is deleted or removed leaves the ranking.
  • You may enter more than one post. Only your best-ranked post counts in the final ranking.
  • Upload only your own Gran Turismo 7 captures, and only content you have the right to share.

Community Score (forum) competitions

You take part by being active on DG-EDGE during the competition period. Points are given for these actions:

Action Points
Create a tournament 100
Create an event 50
Create a team 50
Create a forum thread 20
Upload a setup 20
Participate in a community event 5
Post in the forum 5
Create a Showroom post 5
Receive a like (forum or Showroom) 1
Receive a comment on a Showroom post 1
Comment on a Showroom post 1
Vote on an event (up or down) 1

Likes you receive count; likes you give earn nothing. Commenting on a Showroom post earns 1 point. The monthly ranking starts again on the 1st of each month. Your all-time total stays on your profile.

Points earned before the competition started do not count.

Other contests

Instead of giveaways decided by chance, we may run contests in one of these formats. None of them is a prize game under Croatian law. The competition page says which format applies, how to enter, when entry closes and how winners are chosen.

  • Hotlap challenge: a fixed track and car each month; the fastest valid lap wins.
  • Jury pick: we choose the winners against criteria published on the competition page, for example for the Showroom: composition, originality and relevance to Gran Turismo 7.
  • Showroom likes shortlist: the most-liked entries form a shortlist, and we choose the winners from it.

We do not run random draws unless they have been approved as a prize game under Croatian law.

How winners are chosen

Showroom

  • Entries are ranked by the number of different members who like them during the competition period.
  • Your own like on your own post does not count.
  • The ranking updates live while the competition runs. When it closes, the final ranking is frozen and the winners are taken from it.

While the competition runs, the newer of two entries with the same number of likes is ranked higher. The final ranking applies no tie-break between entries with the same number of likes. If entries tie in the final ranking, we decide the order.

Community Score

  • Members are ranked by the points they earned during the competition period.
  • If two members have the same points, the one who reached that score first ranks higher. If they are still tied, we decide.

Number of winners

Each competition sets its own number of winners on its page, usually the top 3. When a competition closes, the members in the winning places are told that they won.

Fair play

Moderators remove obvious abuse and take away points earned from content they remove. Low-quality or spam posts do not earn a place.

Prizes

There are no standard prizes. Each competition sets its own prizes on its page. They can be:

  • DG merchandise, such as a mystery DG EDGE T-shirt and DG socks;
  • a period of DG-EDGE Premium, usually 1, 6 or 12 months;
  • other prizes, such as the Gran Turismo Masterclass, or a prize given by a sponsor.

Mystery prizes

A "mystery" T-shirt or pair of socks is a surprise until the parcel arrives. Each month has its own design, and you will not know which one you are getting. Mystery designs are limited to winners and never restocked. You cannot choose or exchange the design.

Prize conditions

Prizes have no cash alternative and cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged.

We add a Premium prize to the winner's account by hand after the competition closes. A Premium prize lasts for the period stated in the competition, usually 1, 6 or 12 months. It ends when the prize period is over: it never turns into a paid subscription, and we never charge the winner unless they subscribe themselves. If the winner already pays for Premium, the prize period is added on top, and their next renewal moves back by the length of the prize.

Winners and delivery

  • When a competition closes, each winner gets a notification on DG-EDGE ("You won a community competition!") with their place and their prize.
  • We add a Premium prize to the winner's account by hand after the competition closes. Nothing is shipped.
  • For physical merchandise, we e-mail the winner to ask for their size (for a T-shirt) and their postal address. The prize ships a few days later.
  • Winners have 30 days to claim a prize. We arrange and pay for shipping; the winner pays any customs duties and import taxes.

We send the prize, but we are not responsible for what happens to the parcel in transit, including damage or loss. Winners are told by e-mail as well as on the site. If a prize is not claimed within 30 days, it is not awarded. If a prize arrives in the wrong size, we will send another one.

Taxes

Winners are responsible for any tax due on a prize in their own country. Where Croatian law requires us to withhold or report tax, we will do so and tell you.

Your entry and your data

  • You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us the rights to host and show it that are set out in "Content you share" in our Terms and conditions.
  • Competition pages and leaderboards are public. They show your account name, your entry, its likes or points and your place, and they stay visible as "previous months" after the competition ends.
  • If you win a physical prize, we ask for your name and postal address to send it, and use them only for that. We use them only to send the prize and handle any delivery problem, then delete them. We never give your personal data to sponsors.

How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy and cookie policy.

By entering, you agree that we may publish your name and your entry on the site, in our newsletter and on social media.

Disqualification

We may remove an entry, take away points or withhold a prize where an entry or an entrant breaks these rules or our Terms and conditions, including where:

  • the entry is not the entrant's own work, or they do not have the right to share it;
  • the entry does not match the competition's theme;
  • the content is harmful, unlawful, abusive or otherwise objectionable;
  • points or likes were gained by spam or other abuse.

We may disqualify an entry or an entrant if we see fraudulent behaviour.

A prize that has already been sent is not reclaimed. Disqualification is at our discretion, and we may give the entrant the reason we consider appropriate.

Changing or cancelling a competition

As set out in our Terms and conditions, we may alter, suspend or discontinue any part of DG-EDGE, including competitions.

We may change the dates, the theme or the prizes of a running competition, or cancel it, at any time. Any change is shown on the competition page.
