To get the most out of your sim racing setup, it’s essential to fine-tune your wheelbase settings to match your driving style. Below are recommended settings for the Fanatec CSL GT3 wheel when paired with the Clubsport DD+ wheelbase. Keep in mind that settings may vary across different wheelbases, so some adjustments may be necessary.

Fanatec Setting Explanations
● Sensitivity (SEN):
Set to AUTO to match your physical wheel rotation with the in-game wheel, typically around 540°. This ensures realistic steering input.
● Force Feedback (FFB):
Simulates real-world resistance felt while driving. Start at 100% and adjust based on your driving preference and the car.
● FULL FORCE:
Designed for Direct Drive systems using Fanatec’s new Force Feedback 2.0. It offers high-frequency vibrations for deeper immersion, but as of now, it’s not implemented in GT7.
● Natural Damper (NDP):
Controls how much resistance is applied while turning. Higher settings reduce twitchy movements, enhancing control.
● Natural Friction (NFR):
Adds mechanical resistance for a heavier steering feel and helps reduce oscillations, especially with lighter cars.
● Natural Inertia (NIN):
Adds momentum to steering, giving the wheel a more natural “weighted” feel. Useful for lightweight rims like the CSL GT3.
● Interpolation (INT):
Smooths out rough or low-quality force feedback signals. A setting of 3 offers a balanced, responsive feel.
● Force Effect Intensity (FEI):
Controls the sharpness of force feedback. A higher setting like 100 gives a cleaner, less aggressive sensation.
● Force (FOR):
Adjusts the base directional force. Leave at 100% for optimal feel.
● Spring (SPR) and Damper (DPR):
These have minimal or no effect in GT7. Best left OFF.
● Brake Force (BRF):
Controls brake pedal sensitivity. 85 is a good starting point, but adjust to your preference.
