Fanatec has announced the release of its new CSL Steering Wheel GT3, marking the return of the GT3 design to the CSL Series.
The new model is positioned as a replacement for the discontinued McLaren GT3 wheel and is officially labeled as a “Designed for Xbox” product. This means the wheel includes an integrated Xbox security chip, allowing it to function natively on Xbox consoles. Compatibility with PlayStation systems depends on the connected wheel base, while PC support is also included.
The CSL Steering Wheel GT3 features a 300 mm diameter with rubber grips and is priced at 199.95 EUR or $229.99 USD. It includes rocker-style magnetic shifters that can be operated with one hand and analog paddles that can function as a dual-clutch system or as analog brake and throttle inputs.
An integrated OLED display provides live telemetry data, including gear selection and speed, and also gives access to the Fanatec Tuning Menu via the 7-way FunkySwitch. The wheel is equipped with nine buttons, two 2-way toggle switches, and two 12-way Multi-Position Switches.
The product comes preinstalled with the QR2 Lite Wheel-Side for compatibility with Fanatec’s range of wheel bases, including those capable of delivering up to 25 Nm of torque such as the Podium DD2.
The CSL Steering Wheel GT3 is now available through Fanatec’s official store.
