Gran Turismo 7’s next update is arriving next week, and it brings three new cars. The timing is a bit earlier than usual, but we now have official confirmation: GT7’s June update is on the way. As always, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has shared his teaser image on X, giving us a sneak peek at what’s coming.

This time, the silhouettes of the three cars are more distinct than usual, less shadowed and more recognizable, making it easier to guess what's headed to the game. Here’s what we expect:
Citroën BX
Introduced in 1982 and produced well into the 1990s, the Citroën BX featured the brand’s signature self-levelling hydropneumatic suspension, similar to the legendary Citroën DS. It also came with disc brakes on all four wheels, cutting-edge tech for its time.
Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evolution Rally
While the road-going version from 1991 is already in GT7, this looks like the rally-spec edition. Wider stance, rear mud flaps, compact wing mirrors, and a large rear spoiler suggest it’s the final rally evolution model, nicknamed “Deltona”, that helped secure the 1992 World Rally Championship teams' title.
Peugeot 2008
This one’s a bit of a surprise: a standard European crossover, likely the current second-generation Peugeot 2008. Not the sporty 308 GTI or the wild Dakar-spec 2008, just a regular compact family car. The teaser doesn’t reveal the powertrain, but it could be a 1.2L turbo petrol, 1.5L turbo diesel, or fully electric.
In addition, there’s a new collaboration between Polyphony Digital and Xiaomi. A Xiaomi-branded car is expected to be added to the game, though there’s no timeline yet.
That said, community response to this update has been mixed. Many players were hoping for more competitive GT3 or GT4 models to keep the racing scene current and exciting. What do you think of this upcoming update? Let us know in the comments.
