The SU7 Ultra is a performance powerhouse. Featuring a 1,500 hp (1,138 kW) electric powertrain, it boasts a top speed of 350 km/h and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds. These specs make it one of the fastest four-door EVs in the world. Most notably, the SU7 Ultra holds a record-breaking lap time of 6:46.874 for production EVs at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Players on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will soon be able to experience the car’s high-speed capabilities and dynamic handling in-game. The integration of the SU7 Ultra into GT7 reflects Gran Turismo’s commitment to realism, cutting-edge technology, and the evolving landscape of high-performance electric vehicles.

Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo Concept In Development

Alongside the production SU7 Ultra, Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital are also collaborating on a Vision Gran Turismo concept car. While details remain under wraps, this futuristic virtual prototype is being developed specifically for Gran Turismo and is expected to appear in a future update.

The Vision GT program is known for pushing the boundaries of automotive design and digital performance. Xiaomi’s entry into this elite group marks an important step for the brand, showcasing its innovation and ambition in the virtual motorsport space.

Both the SU7 Ultra and the upcoming Vision Gran Turismo concept represent a new era of collaboration between consumer tech and gaming, bringing cutting-edge electric mobility into the hands of players worldwide.

While some players may feel the game needs more GT3 cars rather than electric additions, this is still a cool new entry. It adds variety and opens up possibilities for future updates. Most likely, the SU7 will appear in one of the next updates.
