The new Gran Turismo 7 Online Time Trial goes live on 11 June 2026 and runs for the usual two weeks, ending on 25 June 2026. This round takes us to 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit in GR.1 on Racing Soft tyres, and the early pace is already brutal.
This is also the perfect chance to try out the new cars. Update 1.70 just added a batch of top-class endurance prototypes to the game, the Ferrari 499P, Porsche 963, BMW M Hybrid V8, and Peugeot 9X8, and all of them are GR.1 cars. So if you've just picked them up, this Time Trial at Le Mans is the place to put them to work.
If you've been grinding the last few Time Trials, 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit will feel familiar. The leaderboard times suggest this one is going to separate the patient drivers from the rest.
24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit in GR.1: What to Expect
The current world-best time on the leaderboard is already sitting at 3:22.596, which is seriously quick for a circuit with this kind of layout. Based on how Polyphony usually sets the cut-offs, I'd expect the gold target to be tight.
Patience is the word here. You're going to want to put in plenty of laps, accept that you'll bin a few attempts on the kerbs, and slowly chip away at the deltas.
Final Thoughts
24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit in GR.1 looks like a proper grinder, fast, technical, and unforgiving in the wrong places. The 3:22.596 already on the board is a strong opening pace, and with the new endurance prototypes just added in 1.70, it's a great excuse to learn one of them around Le Mans.
