The new Gran Turismo 7 Online Time Trial goes live on 18 June 2026 and runs for the usual two weeks, ending on 2 July 2026. This round is a one-make, the Ford GT '17 on Sports Medium tyres around the Red Bull Ring, and the early pace is already brutal.
If you've been grinding the last few Time Trials, the Red Bull Ring will feel familiar. It's short, sharp, and deceptively simple on paper, but the leaderboard times already suggest this one is going to separate the patient drivers from the rest.
Ford GT '17 at the Red Bull Ring: What to Expect
The current world-best is sitting at 1:31.203, which is committed pace for a circuit this short. Based on how Polyphony usually sets the cut-offs, I'd expect the gold target to land somewhere in the 1:33.5 to 1:33.8 range.
Final Thoughts
The Ford GT '17 at the Red Bull Ring looks like a proper grinder, fast, technical, and unforgiving in the wrong places. Being a one-make makes it a pure test of driving, which is always a nice change from chasing the Gr.3 meta. The 1:31.203 already on the board is strong, and I'd expect the WR to drop a few tenths by the end of week one.
Let us know what you think about this combination. It looks like it could be a very interesting one.
