When it comes to racing wheels for the PS5, your options are actually quite limited. MOZA, for example, isn’t compatible with PlayStation out of the box. You can get it working with an adapter, but that adds extra cost—so in most cases, it’s better to stick with something natively PlayStation-compatible.
The Thrustmaster T598 is okay and gets the job done, but if you're aiming for serious competitive racing, I’d look elsewhere.
The Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE is decent—especially if you're just starting out—but if you're planning to stick with sim racing long-term, it might not hold up the way you’d want.
The Thrustmaster T300RS GT Edition is a solid mid-tier option. Still, it’s kind of in that same “in-between” bracket: good, but not great.
Then there’s the T248. It’s serviceable, but not my favorite by any means.
My personal recommendation? Go with the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro. Yes, it’s more expensive and technically over most budgets. And yes, the base model only offers 5 Nm of torque. But what you get is a wheel that’s well-built, reliable, and future-proof, it’s an investment that will serve you well for years to come.

NGF 1974So if i was going to spend £449 on a steering wheel and pedal set, what would you recommend for the money?
A moza? PXN? Logitech? Or the T598?
For the PS5 playing GT7 and ACC
Replies would be much appreciated as I want to upgrade from a Thru...
