Sorry if this is posted somewhere, what time will the lobby open tomorrow?
will it just be a case of searching for the lobby once it's opened?
If someone drops out of the race, like in this case, the spot goes to the next person in line on a first come, first served basis.

IF someone bails last second and a replacement is needed you might have a chance, but I assume then it would be first come - first serve basis.

Only the main lobby will be streamed. You’re still welcome to sign up, but you’ll only be assigned to the race if someone drops out. If that happens, you’ll receive a confirmation. Until then, you can choose to stay on the waitlist or remove yourself from the competition.
Ideally, I’d like to keep everyone in case there are any last-minute changes or issues. Just something to keep in mind.

Are the 2x tire and fuel set in stone?
just did a 20 lap cayman test run vs sophy
mediums survived with about 40% life left id say, and still one lap of fuel (screenshot taken just before finish line of lap 20/20)
so we good with 20 lap / 1h stints / 4 pitstops?
or maybe 3x tire/fuel makes more sense?
total race time 51:20.00
best lap (13) time 2:31.740 (digit will be doing 2:30 flat, mark my words)
average lap time: high 2:32 low 2:33 ish
so the prognosis is 5h event imo

Also it should rain every 15-20 laps, so that's why the stins is that long, there will be a little fuel saving and getting the right tyres when the rain comes.

So RS and RM tyres are optional not mandatory if there's random weather ?
Settings are in. Typically, R08 signals heavy rain, so wet tyres are the go-to. For all other conditions, slicks or intermediates should work, making strategy absolutely critical.

So just to confirm, only thing we can adjust will be brake balance? All diff, suspension, aero etc will be unavailable to adjust?
ASM and countersteering should be banned from the game completely. Those two just drive the car like an autopilot instead of the driver and also prevent those who use it to actually 'listen to' or 'feel' what information the car is giving to keep it pointing the right way and stay in control, but just intervene and counter all the big and small unwanted effects due to the drivers input. Or that is my view/opinion on those 2 assists anyway
There will be no restrictions, you can use whatever you want, TCS, BB, ASM, Counter steering assists.
I would also like to mention that refueling speed will be set to 1l/s, which will give you plenty of time to stretch etc.
Will there be no settings options available at all or can we adjust like the brake balance for example?
