I have just been informed my Internet at my new house won't be up till next Monday. For this outside reason I will have to drop out of the race. My apologies and still thankful for the opportunity. I will not miss this a second time. Best of luck to those who participate.

Just to be sure - starts 17:00 UK time BST ?

Tell you what I'm having hard time deciding what car to choose this time 😄 I might go for something different 🤣

I want to suggest setting the variable speed rate to 2x for better visual variety during the race and increasing the feeling of passing time. It'd also look more interesting on stream without sacrificing anything. It won't make the race harder (just a bit of temperature drop I assume, I don't think anyone uses shadows as braking references) and it won't look unrealistically fast on 2x

Hi, is there any voicechat planned?

Psn Party ?

morning, with it being such a long race will there be a compulsory break?

  • 👍 1

No but because refuelling is x1 this gives enough time for at least a toilet break but not enough time to go for a walk 🤣

Yes, it's 5pm UK time, 6pm CET.

I'll set variable time to X2 as suggested.

No voice chat unfortunately and refuelling is really slow because it gives you enough time for a small brake.

Seems a bit late in the day to change variable conditions if people ( including myself) have been practicing at X1 , at X2 may throw out any planned strategy - I don't regard it that important to change to benefit any significant change on how the race looks tbh !

To be fair, variable weather doesn't change the strategy. It doesn't really affect anything, except it makes the time pass faster.

I'm fine with both 1x or 2x. But it does affect a bit because, as it gets late faster, the track temperature drops (a bit) faster as well, which affects avg. tirewear.

Is the grid still full for later?

Apologies everyone, I need to delay the start of the race by 10 minutes. There's a thunderstorm in my area, and I don't want to risk losing power right at the beginning. Delaying by 10 minutes is the safest option.

whats the lobby name ?

That was a fun race. Thanks for hosting, Digit!

Thank you all for taking part in this race, I took a few quick photos after the race, and I have to say, this track really looks good.

Congrats Digit, Foosa and Flash - no idea where you get that pace on a full tank at the start, once I got into a rhythm I was doing 22s but the first stint I could only muster 23s which cost me.

It was very enjoyable though seeing how things panned out at the end.

I opted for slightly shorter stints of 15 laps instead of 17 or 18.

The Citreon was on my short list but didn't quite seem good enough on tyres in testing or fuel, although maybe a bit more fuel burning helped with pace, I opted for fuel saving and better tyre wear and the Porsche suited me better on this track, I nearly opted for the Audi TT but it seems to have lost its natural fuel saving capabilities.

Think that's the first time I've driven that track on GT7 - What a shame PD just ignore it, crazy!

Hello,
That was fun, even though I drove alone for a long time.
Yeah, exactly, why did you have such an incredibly fast pace?
I'd love to join again, though. I still need to work on my pace.
Maybe I'll get back to you @ matika!
about driving lessons.

Silly question but how do you post photos in here ? 😄 cant see an option to upload any !
