Hello all,

I'd like to start the discussion whether or not the usage of Countersteering Assistance (CSA) is "allowed" or not.
For me it feels like cheating using CSA.

But I realized that a lot of gamers especially in lower lobbies (I am B) are using CSA now on Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Last time CSA was heavily used on Nordschleife when we had this 6 laps wet race - and I did as well to try it out and it went out well for me, but I really felt bad after the race using CSA.

The car is much easier to keep on track especially on Nordschleife when there are wet conditions or when we are forced to use such fast cars as GR1 now.
So for lower ranked drivers it is really an alternative to use CSA as in lower lobbies it is most important to keep the car on track.

Some may say: "Why not using CSA when it is offered to be used and not permitted by race preset? If such an Race ESP would exist in reality the drivers would use it, too."
Others may say: "Even when it is not permitted my philosophy of beeing a race car driver is not allowing me to use it."

What is your opinion?
How would you feel if you would be in a race with drivers using CSA and by this having advantage and maybe finally beating you?

This is one driver using CSA in current race C, using the Porsche 962 C and winning the race:

Kind Regards!

What Torque setting on GT are you using for this car? I'm using 5 and the problem is on the final straight it keeps moving back and forth really hard and idea why?

I changed down to 4 as 5 felt too strong and exhausting.

Thanks I'll give that a try later tonight

It's a game, and it's meant to be fun so use whatever assists you want/need to. CSA will generally make you a little slower anyway, but more likely to stay on track. Pretty sure Digit used it at the race C we had at Panorama a few months ago too.
