Week 28 Daily A: Sardegna - Road Track

This is an interesting one...  not only are you battling against time, but you're also battling against a car that either wants to skid sideways in corners, or understeer off the track, forcing you to lift off and lose more time.

Loving this daily!  Having got to grips with the Integrale on the Time Trial At Grand Valley I was delighted when this popped up as a daily race.  Despite the obvious potential for carnage that this sort of race brings I have thrown myself in the deep end.  First race saw me get the trifecta, pole, FL and the win.  2nd race pole again, punted in to last by 30 seconds in, yet fought my way back to a podium - best race I've had despite the dirty competition.  Also got another 3rd.  My DR is climbing.  I'll be uploading my best race to my channel on the weekend.   EPIC battle.

One of my fav Sardegna layouts that used to feature a lot more in GTS including official and off-season GTWS races using multiple tyre compounds and fuel multipliers- I'll never forget one race where it was a ridiculously high fuel multiplier and I had picked the Gr4 Mustang 🤣 those were the days !

Regarding this combo the car / track combo works well together, PD should use this track a lot more and maybe include other rally cars of the same era, or even create a touring car class, but for a Race A 6 laps ain't bad.
