Do you think it was on purpose to make the Hyundai meta for gr3 and gr4? They did change the bop for (i think) every car in those categories, but was it accidental or not? It just seems a bit suspicious that it is the same brand that has had a long partnership with gt7...

Surely they test these updates before the official release (like in a test environment before pushing to production or whatever the industry terms are. Folks who know please correct me). I find it hard to believe that Polyphony are not aware of the impacts of the updates before pushing them. The question I wonder is why? It's just strange. Feels like they're kinda bean mean to us on purpose 🤣.

That being said, so far this morning I'm having decently clean races and one photo finish after a 3 lap battle for 1st that was awesome racing. Just about everyone driving the same car and using the same tires helps with the close racing, especially for splits where there is a large skill gap between participants. Just my hypothesis, don't come for me lol.

I'll report back later today and update my findings. There is still plenty of time for things to go off the rails! 🫠

Ofc it's on purpose,last year at the gtws final some of the top Hyundai guys shared the stage with kaz to talk about how their relationship will grow and now here we are, hopefully kaz got a nice paycheck

Oh for sure. Gr 3 and 4 are dominated by Hyundai since the update and a weekly one car event with the Hyundai Ioniq (which is trash to drive). The Genesis would of been fun on Brands Hatch, as it was last week on Seaside but the Elantra is so crap to drive. Feels like the car is just floating on my wheel.
