This may sound dumb, but I'm guessing polyphony changed the BOP for this race? Before I could run a 1:39.7, now it's pretty hard to run a 1:40.7.. using the same car.

Assuming the same car and tyres then the question is most likely one of "when", i.e. when did you set this faster time? Which version of GT7 was in use then? They fiddle with the relative performance of the Gr3 and Gr4 cars all the time so you'd have to compare now to then to understand what had changed with that car
