If anyone is wondering I think the optimal strat is 7-5 Mediums > Softs.

From what I've seen today the softs equalise after 4 laps. And mediums first should theoretically be quicker as you save the soft tyre for the lightest fuel load.

I agree Luke, undercut doesn't really work here.

Hard and unforgiving, that's it. And also don't expect super clean racing here, easy to clip the barriers.

Had the chance to start P1 Monday night and I kind of disagree. Starting with RS tyres gives you clean air and that's VERY useful, fighting loses you a lot of time.

I completely agree with you. Hence the word optimal. As in if you are entirely on your own and you don't have to worry about defending / traffic.

Softs first is always a good strategy from the front. That said I had a good race against MachoMonkey and we did opposite strats. My strat won out by 1s.

Very nice combo in a while.

Nice flow, good racing, some strategy. Everything needed for a solid daily race C

It pays to check this more often. Made that mistake already. Tried to undercute, too many laps for the soft in the end.
