Time Trial Discussion

Hi, could we have a "Team" filter for event results like the Time Trial? And then that be ranked? It would be nice to compare times and results. Maybe anoyther custom filter for "following" so you could compare to people on other teams?

Hi, this is a good idea. The results would need to be averaged across all the players and the team. Then we would need a method to distribute the score evenly, which means finding a way to scale that average down into something meaningful. Overall, I think it has potential for the teams. However, if it is going to be implemented, I am not sure it will happen in the near future. We usually like to hold on to these kinds of ideas and keep moving them in a direction where people see clear areas for improvement.

I meant something simpler - just a new filter on the event leaderboard for "team members" and or "following"

A bit like how in the game on the Time Trial or Daily Event lap time leaderboards you can switch from "Global" to "Friends".

Simpler and less work to implent I think?

I ask because me and my team members / friends have to go in and out of each others profile pages to compare how we did.

I did the Mount Panorama Mustang TT yesterday, WOW, that is one hell of a TT! I got 2:19.324 after many laps. That was even hard for me to accomplish! Then went on to try for the 18's. That was really hard to accheive! Finally after many trys and loosing the rear of the car many times I finally got to 2:18.286! Really happy with that time! The Mustang is like driving a stone around that track! Good luck to everyone on this one!

I remember this one clearly. It was one of the first time trials I ever did when I got my first wheel. Even now, this track never gets old. No matter how many times you run it, it always feels challenging. Sure, you can get up to gold with enough practice and even doing 18s is good work, but setting a truly great lap time here is always tough.
