This time trial is completely unbalanced and unfair to PAD users.
Sure, you can technically drive the car with a controller — just don't expect to be competitive.
The Hyundai N 2025 VGT responds so sharply that even with max steering sensitivity, analog stick control feels like using chopsticks to perform surgery.
The top-ranked PAD player sits around 246th with a +1.7% delta — which pretty much says it all.
The gap in steering precision and speed makes it clear this event was never meant for controller users.
It’s not a competition — it’s an exclusive club for wheel users. The rest of us are just here for the participation trophy.

I really think GT7 becomes more unbalanced between pad and wheel, favoring the latter, every time they update the physics. 

Im not sure why they dont make separate trials/lobbies for pad players and wheel players at this point. It's starting to feel like the game is inaccessible on the pad, and some of us dont have the room nor want to spend $1500+ on a competent wheel/rig setup.

Okay so when people are doing well with controllers every thing is good ? When they cant ... everything is not good ? We all pass from controllers .. we all save some money to buy wheel , just to realize no one in real life practise his skills on controller . Even real racing drivers they are on simulators . Thats why the game it call " Real driving simulator "
