The Gran Turismo World Series (GTWS) 2025 Exhibition 1 – Manufacturers Cup is set to kick off from Wednesday, February 5, to Saturday, February 15. With Gr.3 cars exclusively featured, varied race lengths, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming series, including the race schedule, entry slots, effective points system, rewards, and key changes for 2025.

Race Schedule & Format

The Manufacturers Cup Exhibition 1 will consist of four rounds, each featuring a Qualifying session and a Final race. The series will run on a Wednesday-Saturday rotation.

• Round 1 will take place on February 5 at Suzuka Circuit, featuring Gr.3 cars with a race distance of 20 laps for GT1 and 15 laps for GT2 & GT3.

• Round 2 is scheduled for February 8 at Daytona Road Course, using Gr.3 cars and covering 20 laps for GT1 and 15 laps for GT2 & GT3.

• Round 3 will be held on February 12 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, where drivers will race in Gr.3 cars for a total of 30 laps.

• Round 4 will take place on February 15 at Interlagos, featuring Gr.3 cars with a race distance of 13 laps.

Gr.3 cars only: Unlike past GTWS events where Gr.4 cars were occasionally featured, this season is purely focused on the Gr.3 category.

Longer races in later rounds: While the first two races have different lengths based on league, Rounds 3 and 4 are the same for all leagues.

Potential for wet weather: The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps round (30 laps) could feature wet conditions, given previous race setups and tire selection.

Entry Slots & Race Timings

GT1 League Race Slots (GMT)

• Slot 1 is at 14:00, Slot 2 is at 16:00, and Slot 3 is at 18:00.

GT2 & GT3 Leagues Race Slots (GMT)

• Slot 1 is at 8:00, Slot 2 is at 9:00, Slot 3 is at 10:00, Slot 4 is at 11:00, Slot 5 is at 12:00, Slot 6 is at 14:00, Slot 7 is at 15:00, Slot 8 is at 16:00, Slot 9 is at 17:00, and Slot 10 is at 18:00.

You can enter as many race slots as you wish, but only your last race entered will count for points, even if you disconnect.

• GT1 races feature heavy damage, requiring pit stops to repair, while GT2 and GT3 have self-healing light damage.

Tire wear, fuel consumption, and mandatory tire use remain consistent across all leagues.

Effective Points System

The GTWS Manufacturers Cup follows an effective points system, which means that only your three best rounds from the four will count towards your final score.

Point Ranking Rewards

To make the competition even more exciting, players can win in-game Credits based on their ranking.

GT1 League Rewards

• Gold (Top 5%) rewards 4,500,000 Cr. for Regional Ranking, 2,700,000 Cr. for Manufacturer Ranking, and 900,000 Cr. for both Local Ranking (Main Area) and Local Ranking (Secondary Area).

• Silver (Top 25%) rewards 2,250,000 Cr. for Regional Ranking, 1,350,000 Cr. for Manufacturer Ranking, and 450,000 Cr. for both Local Ranking (Main Area) and Local Ranking (Secondary Area).

• Bronze (Top 75%) rewards 1,125,000 Cr. for Regional Ranking, 675,000 Cr. for Manufacturer Ranking, and 225,000 Cr. for both Local Ranking (Main Area) and Local Ranking (Secondary Area).

GT2 & GT3 League Rewards

• Gold (Top 5%) rewards 2,250,000 Cr. for Regional Ranking, 1,350,000 Cr. for Manufacturer Ranking, and 450,000 Cr. for both Local Ranking (Main Area) and Local Ranking (Secondary Area).

The Gran Turismo World Series offers a structured championship format that differs from the usual Daily Races. Here’s how it works:

The GT1 League is for drivers with DR A and A+, the GT2 League is for those with DR B, and the GT3 League is for drivers with DR C and lower. Once assigned to a league, your placement remains unchanged throughout the season, regardless of any DR fluctuations. This season introduces a higher risk-and-reward system. More DR points are available, making it a great opportunity for players to rank up. However, losing races could lead to a larger DR drop than usual.

The championship offers players a chance to earn in-game credits, improve their rankings, and compete against the best drivers in the Gran Turismo community.
