Daily Race Discussion

If GT7 wants to continue like this, why don't they draw a race by car as well? Then let's have one make races/cups, but please not Hyundai always. Please! If somebody likes Hyundai, no problem, but if I like Mercedes or Ferrari, why are these written out of playing or having fun? It's supposed to be for fun, no? Racing is supposed to be for fun, Gran Turismo is supposed to be for fun.

Always up for some red bull junior races. Don't think Red bull ring is the best fit. Interlagos for instance would be great in this car. But I'll take it. Especially in comparison to the rest of the dailies. 

Might as well delete the 24h track version

They really had a chance to put Red Bull x2019 on this map and they chose another Elantra Cup. Oblivious

I managed to get a decent qualy but never really wanted to do a race here. 

Today on a whim I decided to do a race but ofc lap 1 I made a fatal mistake.

I'm in more of a mood to do house chores than race on this mickey mouse POS track it's cobbled together and doesn't flow at all.

I understand, but I use a controller, or try to.

I was recently able to do a better time by increasing the pedal pressure it takes for my brakes to engage. I never adjust anything for any other vehicle. Not really a fan of this car. I haven't been participating in races this week.

It's so hard for me to get a great qualifying time like the people I keep getting sorted with for this race... I was able to get a qualifying time of 01:44.369, but I keep getting sorted with people who have better qualifying times than that and I end up starting in last place or close because of that and I usually can't move that far up from where I started, so my DR often drops... I've tried practicing extensively and using the ghost of the best lap time with reset ghost position activated and the ghost offset by 2 or 3 tenths of a second, but I still can't get an incredible qualifying time for this race...

I just wish I could learn to drive the darn thing even though I dislike the domination. The last daily B race was great with a mix of vehicles.  I'm not the fastest guy but usually can get better, can't put this one together...

Nice track, boooooooooooooring car!

Yeah I agree. I'm an "N"Thusiast owning a Hyundai N myself but I don't like seeing the race and the leaderboards being dominated by the one male model. It may as well be called the Elantra cup. 

Yes, my wheel does that too. It is from sitting on the banking! Kinda funny, "the real driving simulator" Daytona is a great track I think.  

Daytona is the greatest thing to happen in the history of humanity, no man-made design will ever surpass the marvel that is this track 

Why have any other car in the game when you let one car dominate the track, like the Elantra is doing, as it appears?  I just ran one race and came in 6th, but everything from 1 to 11 was the Elantra; I was the only car that finished above 12 that wasn't an Elantra.  

Does anyone else's wheel start off pre race turning all the way to the left? Never noticed this on a race before
