Gran Turismo 7 players are getting ready for the first content update of 2026. Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that a new patch arrives next week, featuring three new performance cars revealed under covers. The teaser follows the familiar silhouette format, pointing toward a blend of race-focused machinery and a powerful road car that will further expand the game’s growing garage.

One of the incoming cars is strongly expected to be the Hyundai Elantra N TCR. It was announced during the 2025 Gran Turismo World Finals and now looks set to make its long awaited debut in GT7 as the first true TCR car in franchise history.

The other two vehicles remain unconfirmed, but community speculation points to at least one modern GT3-spec Porsche, which would bring the Gr.3 lineup closer to real world racing grids.

Another car widely speculated to appear in this update is the new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. First announced at the Gran Turismo World Series event in London in June 2025, the Chinese super saloon has since made headlines by setting a new Nürburgring Nordschleife record for executive class cars. It is fully electric. It delivers a staggering 1,500 horsepower. And it has already proven it can conquer one of the most demanding race circuits in the world.

Beyond the cars, players can likely expect new World Circuits events built around the additions, possible engine swaps, and a fresh Extra Menu collection, even if a major new track seems unlikely so soon after the Spec III update.
