A new Gran Turismo 7 update, version 1.61 is set to launch next week, bringing with it three new cars. As usual, the information comes directly from Polyphony Digital’s chief, Kazunori Yamauchi, who posted a teaser image on X revealing the silhouettes of the upcoming additions.
Update coming next week.

From the outlines, here’s what we believe is coming:
Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Variant
Gran Turismo 7 already features the iconic R34 in its V·spec II Nür form, but one key version has been missing, the legendary Nismo Z-Tune. Known for its aggressive splitter and deeper rear wing, this model appears to match the teaser silhouette. That said, we can’t completely rule out other versions like the luxurious M·spec.
Nissan Qashqai
An unexpected choice, but the Qashqai has been a major success story for Nissan, with over 4 million units sold worldwide. This might be a hybrid model, which could mean limited tuning options, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Honda N-One Kei Car
Thanks to its quirky front fascia resembling a surprised expression, we believe this silhouette matches the Honda N-One. Originally released in 2012, this kei car remains in production with either a naturally aspirated or turbocharged 658cc engine. While technically two generations exist, the newer version is more of a refined facelift than a ground-up redesign.
Gran Turismo 7 July 2025 Update Release Date: the update is expected to arrive on Thursday, July 24th, 2025, for both PS4 and PS5.
