This week brings three brand new combinations to Gran Turismo 7 for Week 22 of 2026. We’re heading to Suzuka Circuit, Deep Forest Raceway, and Watkins Glen International Long Course. It’s a really varied lineup this week, with something completely different in every race.
Daily Race A: Suzuka Circuit in the Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98
Suzuka Circuit in Japan spans 5.81 km with 18 corners and 40 metres of elevation change. It’s the legendary figure eight layout where every single corner matters. The Esses alone can completely decide your lap.
The Honda Integra Type R DC2 ’98 runs on Comfort Soft tyres for a 3 lap sprint race. Short, intense, and all about qualifying pace. Track position is going to be absolutely crucial here.
The combination itself looks surprisingly demanding. The Integra is agile and rewarding, but it still requires precision and commitment through Suzuka’s high speed sections. One small mistake through the Esses or Degner can easily ruin the entire lap, so consistency is going to matter just as much as outright speed.
Daily Race B: Deep Forest Raceway in Gr.4
Deep Forest Raceway spans 3.52 km with 13 corners and 47 metres of elevation change. It’s one of GT7’s most iconic original circuits, combining technical sectors with fast flowing sections through the forest.
This race uses Gr.4 machinery on Racing Hard tyres for 5 laps. A classic Daily Race format where clean driving and racecraft will likely make the biggest difference.
Overall, this looks like one of the more enjoyable combinations of the week. Deep Forest usually creates close racing because of how narrow and technical certain sections are, while the Gr.4 cars tend to keep the field tightly packed. Expect plenty of pressure throughout the lap, especially through the tunnel section and the final sector where mistakes can happen very easily.
Daily Race C: Watkins Glen International Long Course in Gr.3
Watkins Glen International Long Course hosts the final race of the week. This event uses Gr.3 cars on Racing Hard and Racing Soft tyres for 11 laps, with x2 fuel consumption and x5 tyre wear. Strategy and tyre management are going to decide this race more than outright pace.
Watkins Glen always produces fast and aggressive racing, but the added tyre wear should make things much more interesting this time around. Drivers will need to decide whether to push early on softer tyres or manage the race carefully for the final laps. The high speed nature of the circuit also means that confidence through sectors like the Esses and the Bus Stop will be incredibly important.
This combination has delivered great racing in the past, and with strategy now playing a much bigger role, this could easily become the standout race of the week.
Final Thoughts
A short and intense sprint race at Suzuka, a balanced Gr.4 battle at Deep Forest, and a strategic Gr.3 endurance race at Watkins Glen. This week has a really strong variety overall, and each race should test a completely different skill set.
Let us know what you think about this week’s combinations. It should be a very interesting week of racing.
