GT7 Daily Races Week 28/2026: Sardegna, Spa, Watkins Glen 6 July 2026 – 12 July 2026

This week brings three new combinations in Gran Turismo 7 for Week 28 of 2026. We're heading to Sardegna Road Track Reverse, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, and Watkins Glen International Long Course.

It's a properly varied set this week. A short, sharp open-wheel sprint at Sardegna, a Gr.3 run through Eau Rouge at Spa, and a proper Gr.1 endurance race at Watkins Glen with tyre choice in play. Three completely different challenges.

Daily Race A: Sardegna Road Track Reverse in the Red Bull X2014 Junior

Sardegna Road Track Reverse in GT World spans 5.11 km with 15 corners and 38 m of elevation. It's a coastal road circuit, the kind of flowing layout that punishes mistakes hard, and in reverse the rhythm is completely different to the version most people know.

The Red Bull X2014 Junior on Racing Hards for 4 laps is short and sharp, so qualifying matters more than anything. This is an open-wheel junior formula car, so it's quick, light, and demands precision. There's no room for error on a coastal circuit with barriers close to the track, and 4 laps means one mistake essentially ends your race. Get a clean qualifying lap in, because track position is everything here.

Daily Race B: Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Gr.3

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium spans 7.0 km with 21 corners and 104 m of elevation. It's a GT7 legend, known for its fast straights, iconic corners, and dramatic elevation changes. Eau Rouge into Raidillon needs no introduction.

Gr.3 on Racing Mediums for 5 laps is the bread-and-butter Daily B format. No pit stops, manageable wear, and a category that rewards clean racing. Spa is one of the best circuits in the game for Gr.3, but the long lap means 5 laps is a decent chunk of racing. The slipstream down the Kemmel Straight will define most overtakes, so getting a good exit out of Eau Rouge to tow past into Les Combes is the classic move here.

Daily Race C: Watkins Glen International Long Course in Gr.1

Watkins Glen International Long Course in the USA spans 5.42 km with 11 corners and 41 m of elevation. It's a fast, flowing American classic with long committed corners and a couple of proper high-speed sections that reward a brave, smooth driver.

Gr.1 prototypes for 12 laps with a choice of Racing Mediums or Racing Softs, ×2 fuel, and ×2 tyre wear. With no mandatory pit stop listed, the tyre choice becomes the whole strategy. Do you start on the faster Racing Softs and manage the drop-off, or run the more stable Mediums and stay consistent to the flag?

This is the kind of race where a slower driver with a smart tyre and fuel strategy beats a faster driver who burns through the Softs too early. Worth running a few practice laps to dial in your numbers before jumping into a lobby.

Final Thoughts

A nicely balanced week. The Red Bull X2014 Junior at Sardegna will reward precision and a clean qualifying lap, the Gr.3 run through Spa will reward slipstream tactics and clean racing, and the Watkins Glen Gr.1 race will reward proper tyre and fuel strategy.

The Watkins Glen race is the one we'd circle this week. Gr.1 prototypes with a tyre choice and no forced pit is exactly the kind of strategic race that rewards smart drivers over fast ones.

Let us know what you think about this combination. It looks like it could be a very interesting one.
