GT7 Daily Races Week 44: SUGO International Racing Course and Willow Springs 26 October 2026 – 2 November 2026

This week brings three new combinations in Gran Turismo 7 for Week 44 of 2026. We're heading to SUGO International Racing Course, Willow Springs International Raceway, and back to SUGO. These are the first Dailies at SUGO, the circuit that arrived with Spec IV Part 1, and they give it a road-car one-make sprint and a Gr.3 strategy race.

SUGO International Racing Course in Japan spans 3.59 km with 13 corners and 69 m of elevation, with a longest straight of 705 m. It sits in Murata in Miyagi Prefecture, and the lap finishes with a corner that climbs at up to 10 percent onto the pit straight. That exit sets your speed down the longest straight, so it's the corner to learn first.

The Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34) '08 on Sports Hards for 5 laps is a one-make, so everyone's in the same car and it comes down purely to driving. Our database lists it at 331 hp and 1,530 kg, with a naturally aspirated 3,696 cc V6 at the front driving the rear wheels.

Five laps at standard fuel and wear with no pit stops makes this a sprint, so qualifying and a clean first lap matter most. Tuning is off, so the default setup is the setup. With 331 hp going to the rear wheels on Sports Hards, we'd expect traction to be the limit on corner exits, so be patient with the throttle and let the car settle before you ask for power. Slipstream is set to Simulation, so the tow will matter on that long straight.

It's a road car, so the 1.72 changes to the default suspension and differential settings, which cover Gr.1 to Gr.4, don't touch it. The field is already large. At the time of writing 1,191 drivers are ranked, the best time is 1:35.198, and a 1:37.426 gets you into the top 100.

Willow Springs International Raceway in the United States, on the Big Willow layout, spans 3.95 km with 10 corners and 50 m of elevation, with a longest straight of 756 m. Our database calls it a GT7 classic that tests speed, grip and bravery.

Gr.4 on Racing Hards for 7 laps, with standard fuel and wear and no pit stops. It's a sprint on the least grippy Racing compound, so qualifying and the first lap are where the race is won. Tuning is allowed, and no Gr.4 Daily ran in Week 43, so this is the first full week of Gr.4 racing since the 1.72 default setups arrived. Polyphony hasn't said which way any car moved, so check Car Settings before you race.

The usage numbers are thin so far. With 100 drivers on the board, the Hyundai Elantra N TC '24 is on 48%, the Audi TT Cup '16 on 26% and the Lamborghini Huracán Gr.4 on 18%, and the Huracán holds the fastest lap at 1:19.309. A first-day split will move once more drivers arrive, so check the most-used cars on the event page again in a day or two before you settle on one.

The same 3.59 km lap as Race A, this time in Gr.3 for 14 laps with ×2 fuel and ×4 tyre wear. Racing Mediums and Racing Softs are both mandatory, so every driver has to use each compound, which means at least one pit stop. This is the strategy race of the week. Softs trade life for pace over a lap, and at ×4 wear that trade will matter, so the compound order and the stop lap decide the race.

Run a few practice laps on each compound, see what a lap costs in fuel at ×2, then pick your starting compound and your stop lap. Tuning is allowed here too, and the 1.72 update changed the default suspension and differential settings for every Gr.3 car, so look at Car Settings first.

Last week's Interlagos Daily B was the first full week of Gr.3 under those new defaults. Across 78,889 drivers it finished with the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept '18 on 26.34% of the field, ahead of the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) '22 on 10.08% and the Volkswagen Beetle Gr.3 on 7.15%. That was a 6-lap sprint on Racing Hards, so a car that wins there won't necessarily hold up over 14 laps on two compounds. This week's leaderboard is still empty as we write, so give it a day and check the most-used cars on the event page before you pick.

Final Thoughts

A really nicely balanced week. The Fairlady Z one-make at SUGO will reward patient throttle on Sports Hards, the Gr.4 sprint at Willow Springs will reward a clean first lap in a car picked on fresh data, and the Gr.3 race back at SUGO will reward the best compound order and stop timing.

Race C is the one we'd circle. Fourteen laps at ×2 fuel and ×4 wear, with two compulsory compounds on a circuit the whole field is still learning, leaves the order and the stop lap in your hands.

Let us know what you think about this combination. It looks like it could be a very interesting one.
