GT7 Daily Races Week 38: Deep Forest, Monza, Brands Hatch 14 September 2026 – 20 September 2026

This week brings three new combinations in Gran Turismo 7 for Week 38 of 2026. We're heading to Deep Forest Raceway, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, and the Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit. It's a proper mix this week, with a classic Porsche one-make to open, a flat-out Gr.3 sprint in the middle, and a Gr.4 strategy race at Brands Hatch to finish.

Deep Forest Raceway in Switzerland spans 4.25 km with 18 corners and 50 m of elevation, with a longest straight of 0.77 km. It's one of Polyphony's own circuits and a long-time favourite, with its tunnels, cambered sweepers and a rhythm that rewards anyone who can link one corner into the next.

The Porsche 911 GT3 (996) '01 on Sports Softs for 5 laps is a one-make, so everyone's in the same car and it comes down purely to driving. The 996 kept the 911's rear-engined layout, so there's plenty of weight over the rear wheels. That gives you strong traction on the way out of a corner, but lift sharply mid-corner and the back end can start to come round on you.

Deep Forest doesn't have a long straight to pass on, so most of the overtaking will happen under braking. Five laps is short, which puts a lot of weight on qualifying and a clean first lap. Update 1.71 also refined how cars respond on partial throttle, so if you've driven a rear-engined car here before, give yourself a few laps to relearn how much throttle it will take through the long corners.

Daily Race B: Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Gr.3

Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy spans 5.79 km with 11 corners. The Temple of Speed needs little introduction, all long straights broken up by heavy braking into tight chicanes, and it's about as slipstream-heavy as GT7 gets.

Gr.3 on Racing Hards for 6 laps, standard fuel and wear, and no pit stops. Racing Hards give you the least peak grip of the racing compounds, which matters here more than most places, because Monza's big stops into the chicanes are exactly where a lack of grip shows up. Expect cars to lock up and run long, especially on lap one.

The first chicane after the start is where races get decided and ruined in equal measure. Get a good tow down the main straight and you'll have a move on, but everyone else will be thinking the same thing, so brake a touch early on the opening lap and let the chaos happen in front of you. After that, the exits are what count. A slow exit from a chicane costs you all the way down the next straight, so give up a little on entry to get the car turned and on the power early.

There's a genuine car choice in Gr.3 here, and with 1.71 having recalculated Performance Points and changed tyre behaviour, the old Monza meta may not hold. Worth checking what the quick drivers are using once a few hundred entries are in.

Daily Race C: Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit in Gr.4

Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit in the United Kingdom spans 3.95 km with 9 corners and 35 m of elevation, with a longest straight of 0.48 km. It's compact and old-school, with cambers, crests and kerbs that bite if you get greedy, and Paddock Hill Bend is still one of the most intimidating first corners in racing.

Gr.4 on Racing Mediums for 12 laps, with ×2 fuel, ×5 tyre wear, and one mandatory pit stop. This is the strategy race of the week, and an unusual one, because Racing Mediums are the only tyre on offer. With one compound to choose from, the whole decision comes down to when you stop.

Under ×5 wear the Mediums will fade over a stint, so the natural play is to split the race roughly in half. But on a lap this short, the time you lose in the pit lane is a big share of a lap, and track position is hard to win back at Brands Hatch. Stopping a lap or two earlier than the cars around you, and using fresh tyres to jump them, could be worth more than running long and hoping.

Then there's the fuel. At ×2 you may still need to save on one of the stints, so run a few practice laps first. Work out how quickly the tyres drop off and how much fuel a lap really costs, then decide whether a fuel-saving stint is worth it against a flat-out one.

Final Thoughts

A really nicely balanced week. The 996 one-make at Deep Forest will reward smooth hands and a tidy first lap, the Gr.3 race at Monza will reward patience on lap one and good exits after it, and the Gr.4 race at Brands Hatch will reward whoever gets their stop timing right.

Brands Hatch is the one we'd circle. Twelve laps round one of the great old circuits, with a forced stop and heavy tyre wear. That's a race where thinking ahead beats raw pace.

Let us know what you think about this combination. It looks like it could be a very interesting one.
