This week brings three new combinations in Gran Turismo 7 for Week 45 of 2026. We're heading to Dragon Trail, Grand Valley, and Watkins Glen International. It's a Corvette one-make, a Gr.3 sprint and a Gr.4 strategy race, so each slot asks something different of you.
Daily Race A: Dragon Trail in the Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C3) '69
Dragon Trail Gardens in Croatia spans 4.35 km with 17 corners and 27 m of elevation, with a longest straight of 781 m. It's a fictional circuit, and our database describes it as a blend of flowing turns, scenic landscapes and challenging chicanes.
The Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C3) '69 on Comfort Softs for 5 laps is a one-make, so everyone's in the same car and it comes down purely to driving. Our database lists it at 298 hp and 1,552 kg, with a naturally aspirated 5,735 cc engine at the front driving the rear wheels. That is 33 hp down and 22 kg heavier than last week's Fairlady Z at SUGO.
Five laps at standard fuel and wear with no pit stops makes this a sprint, so qualifying and a clean first lap matter most. Tuning is off, so the default setup is the setup. With less power than last week and only the rear wheels to put it down, we'd expect smooth throttle and brake inputs to pay back more than hard attacking. Slipstream is set to Simulation, so the tow will matter down the 781 m straight.
It's early, with 107 drivers ranked at the time of writing. Gold is currently 1:57.377, so that is the first target to aim for.
Daily Race B: Grand Valley in Gr.3
Grand Valley in the United States spans 5.10 km with 18 corners and 97 m of elevation, with a longest straight of 995 m. It's another fictional circuit, and our database calls it a fan favourite that combines tunnels, bridges and flowing technical sections.
Gr.3 on Racing Mediums for 6 laps, with standard fuel and wear and no pit stops. That makes it a sprint, so qualifying and the first lap are where the race is won. Tuning is allowed, and the 1.72 update changed the default suspension and differential settings for every Gr.1 to Gr.4 car. Polyphony hasn't said which way any car moved, so check Car Settings before you race. The 995 m straight is the obvious place to use the tow.
The last Gr.3 Daily here was the reverse layout in Week 52 of 2025, so there is no recent Gr.3 leaderboard from this circuit to lean on. The usage numbers are early too. With 326 drivers on the board, the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept '18 is on 15.03%, the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 '18 on 10.43% and the Jaguar F-type Gr.3 on 7.36%, and the Genesis X GR3 holds the fastest lap. A first-day split will move once more drivers arrive, so check the most-used cars on the event page again in a day or two before you settle on one. Gold is currently 1:50.505.
Daily Race C: Watkins Glen International in Gr.4
Watkins Glen International in the United States, on the Long Course layout, spans 5.42 km with 11 corners and 41 m of elevation, with a longest straight of 560 m. Our database calls it a GT7 favourite that combines speed, flow and historic racing charm.
Gr.4 for 11 laps with ×3 fuel and ×5 tyre wear. Racing Hards and Racing Mediums are both mandatory, so every driver has to use each compound, which means at least one pit stop. This is the strategy race of the week. The question is the compound order and the stop lap, and at ×5 wear that choice will show up in the lap times. Run a few practice laps on each compound, see what a lap costs in fuel at ×3, then pick your starting tyre and your stop lap. Tuning is allowed, so look at Car Settings first.
Last week's Willow Springs Daily B was the first Gr.4 race under the 1.72 default setups, and its early split had the Hyundai Elantra N TC '24 on 48% and the Audi TT Cup '16 on 26%. This week it has turned around. With 560 drivers on the board, the Audi TT Cup '16 is on 46.61%, the Hyundai Elantra N TC '24 on 15.18% and the Honda NSX Gr.4 on 5.71%, and the TT Cup also holds the fastest lap. That is a different circuit and a very early sample, so we wouldn't read it as a verdict on the cars. The last Gr.4 Daily at Watkins Glen was a 4-lap sprint in Week 9, well before 1.72, so it is no guide to a two-compound race over 11 laps. Gold is currently 1:57.922.
Final Thoughts
A really nicely balanced week. The Corvette one-make at Dragon Trail will reward smooth inputs with no tuning to lean on, the Gr.3 sprint at Grand Valley will reward a clean first lap in a car picked on fresh data, and the Gr.4 race at Watkins Glen will reward the best compound order and stop timing.
Race C is the one we'd circle. Eleven laps at ×3 fuel and ×5 wear, with both Racing Hards and Racing Mediums compulsory, leaves the order and the stop lap in your hands.
Let us know what you think about this combination. It looks like it could be a very interesting one.
