hahahah holy shit the worlds best is now a 1:51:2 (more than half a second faster than previous) in the fucking gr.3 Genesis on what looks like a legitimate lap. Will PD ever figure out this fucking BOP????????

same here...a completely different experience with the Mercedes AMG...Brakepoint Chicane was between 100m and 150m (at least for me)...now, its even short after the 100m. The car feels 50KG heavier. It feels like I´m driving on the meds and not on softs anymore. Best time now a 55.2...nearly a second slower than my other (5!) times.
And yeah...lokks like the meta is gonna be the Genesis...right PD...congrats! This week is in every matter broken. I love GT but this has become really annoying.
Edit: ok, now i´m back in the 54´s but, anyway, the car is different from monday or tuesday...

After a week of racing Gr4 I'm happy to drive Gr3 cars. I am discovering this circuit for the first time in a sim. Feels sterile like many other modern tracks but there are interesting corners to come to grips with. I espacialy like the two off-camb…

PD Version of qualifying session before each race
Well, this week's been a real fuster cluck so far, hasn't it?
Although I'm not invested in the whole let's-set-a-really-good-lap-time-and-etch-my-name-near-the-top-of-the-leaderboard aspect of the game, I understand many people are and this situation must feel very frustrating to say the least. Let's hope it lights a fire under the staff responsible for this sort of thing over at Polyphony Digital and they take the actions necessary to fix this once and for all.
As for me, who's really only interested in what happens on track between the green and checquered flags, if I squint, PD's clumsy attempts at mitigating this exploit's impact have taken Sport mode (squint harder now) a very little bit closer to my ideal: have drivers set their qualifying time in conditions that mimic the start of a race immidiately before they take to the grid. As in; one lap, cold tires, full tank of fuel. You get only one chance to perform and you should feel the pressure. IMHO qualifying must measure how well drivers can manage the tension between their desire to perform and their fear of failure. After all that's exactly what they'll have to do once the green flag drops.
By no means am I argueing against time trialing or keeping a record of participant's results on a leaderboard. This practice can, and should, remain in the game. However, its quite possibly the worst method to set the starting grid of a race. I'm willing to die on that hill.
This is completely ridiculous! Why did PD erase nearly all of the times? I did a 54.5 yesterday...for me like winning an Oscar. Even the times of the people in my list...come on! I understand that some of the times are crazy. I mean, I try to follow…
Even after the results were reset for the third time, they continue to cheat.:((((LReplying to Lrfaria·I didn't get that luck yet. I managed 1:53:7 then i wasn't able to reproduce it yet and now my best was 1:53:9 and 1:53:6 with a penalty in the last corner. Maybe later.
