Post your fastest lap times with a video that can be used as a ghost for a slowpokes. I can’t use the top drivers there gone in two corners. Thus people who are six seconds off the pace would really benefit from drivers who are a little faster. Say four seconds out the pace. I can try to keep up with that ghost.Same for people that are 3 to 4 seconds off pace would greatly benefit from somebody who’s two seconds off the pace see what I’m saying. Appreciate your time and consideration. Now stop buggin me. I gotta race starting in a minute.

In settings you can set the ghost to reset at each sector, also useful to offset it by 0.3 or 0.4 so you are not right on top of it at some points

I think I'm old but most say otherwise 😅. You're never too old to start with Gran Turismo. I've been playing Gran Turismo since its inception, fell in love with it. I was the best in all my circles back in the day before the game evolved into an online international sensation. In the UK, back in the day when I was at college, Virgin Stores in my nearest city hosted a GT4 competition leader board, racing around New York. I actually came 2nd in that Glasgow competition! I was excellent back then, now, as a returning driver dusting off the PS5 after a few years away, not so much!
Like you, I'm just getting back into the cockpit after a long break due to ill health, trying to balance adulthood, university, and business. Safe to say my first laps back were terrible and I'm straight back to automatic for now while I shake off the rust! I used to pride myself on a clean Safety Rating (always SR: S), but dealing with dirty drivers in the lower DR lobbies before my break was tough enough.
I think your proposal is absolute genius. You are spot on about the top leaderboard ghosts, they vanish after two corners and you learn nothing. Chasing a ghost that is just 2 seconds faster than you is exactly how you actually improve your lines and braking zones.
Since I'm on the ropes myself right now, I might be the perfect candidate to upload some "moderately slow" ghosts for you once I get my rig fully fired up! I'm just starting my training journey here with the DG Masterclass to build myself back up.
Don't let the pace get you down; the fact that you're hooked on GT7 is what matters. Wishing you a fast and furious climb through those rankings, Kowalski. Hopefully, the community does us "old-timers" proud here. I'll be sure to follow you for progress updates. Good luck in your next race!

If you follow me (Slorydn) on GT7 its easy just go to showcase, click the button next to Followed, and whatever people like me thst you have chosen to follow have shared will be right there (pictures, replays, liveries etc). I am a C driver, avg delta 3.6% (usually that means about 3 seconds give or take off the top times set by the aliens). Download the replays to your system, then you can load the ghost under Ghost Settings when you are in the qualifying part of sport mode. Another driver (Kurtsdmf) who is a B driver and I share back and forth that way so as to push each other to be faster. He is still usually faster than me, but every once in a while I just pip him at the end of the week.
