If you're not starting race within top 5, you are toast, regardless of lobby.

Can I just recommend something for people. Try not to focus to hard on you qually time and getting to the top of leaderboards. This mentality is why we have a bunch of one make races. Pick a car and stick with it build your lap times in the pre race qualifying sessions just hitting your lines repeatedly and build you speed that way. You will build more consistent race pace and not be the guy/gal holding the field up and causing incidents Because your trying to keep up. The races become cleaner and more enjoyable. Also there would be more variety of cars being used the time you gain for using a Meta car is 0.500 on average. Try it out pick the Ferrari or AMG GT and do some laps then try the meta. Your pace will be very very close to the same. 

I can't quite get the Porsche to go fastest here, I get better rotation with the Audi and have found more pace with it. Having a terrible run of races lately but this track feels like a dance and once in a while I get a clean race and that's magical. 

I agree. I as well only drive the Porsche because it my favorite VR car. 

This track is hypnotic... It's all about rhythm. 

this race has destroyed me. I've managed two races out of dozens to not get smashed from behind or run off the road into the wall. despite a decent qualifying time for my level of experience (c/d lobby 2:01:4xx) i've finished nearly last almost every race. why are players so intentionally combative? 😖  i love the circuit but unforunately this one has really soured my enjoyment for racing.  I just don't understand why I get paired with so many dirty drivers just as i'm about to cross the lobby-points threshold. i end up losing all my progress and have to start over 😾

Regularly getting player behind on the chicaine leading to the tunnel using be as braking pint, seems they plan to go in fast then hit you in the rear quarter which slows them down a little but throws you completely off line.  They then just drive on like nothing happened. Had it three races in a row and not a single penalty issued. Been saying it since GT sport, the S rating need to be just as hard to keep as your D rating.  Would love to hear form PD what they are doing about making it a fun place to race.  Still a huge advocate for throwing Sophy in the bin for AI drivers and instead using it as a race steward

Ok mate feel free to check my account and each Gr3 daily race and check which car I choose. Porsche RSR all the way up until the new GT3R. Check it and don't bother responding no one likes a troll. 

I stopped racing online for the week, made a massive DR gain, but a huge SR loss. Also my edge score is taking a massive hit too.

This track feels easier to run much faster times then any of the recent other gr3 daily races. Anyone else having the same experience?

Correct I drive the car I like not the one everyone else uses. 

So you're saying that there are cars as fast or even faster and then you say that you only use the Porsche mhmh ....

There is a few cars that are just as quick. statisticly the Audi and Ferrari are better and the BMW and GTR are also fast around this track. its the sad fact that alot of people are just sheep they see the car at the top and pick that one insted of useing another that to be honest if they put the same amount of time behind the wheel of would be just as quick. the hole dynamic of GT3 racing is lost because this Grandturimo community are just followers. finding the weakness in another car on a particular section of the track and positioning yourself to exploit it or put pressure on them to force a mistake is lost. this might as well be F1 or Nascar. follow the leader. iv only ever used the Porsche its my favourite even the old one. i stick with it regardless of "Meta" and i do fine. its nice to have a car thats not one of the weakest for a change.
