Daily Race Discussion

Sometimes SR-S means absolutely nothing, especially drivers with a high DR. There's always that handful of guys in a lobby who just don't care about ramming you off into Mars, just to get to a higher position. And then they'll still try and purposefully run you wide when they feel threatened with you trying to overtake you. Been running into alot of those guys lately, mostly with Gr. 4 races.

I really hope that in the next BOP change the Porsche will get downgraded.. absolute BS that on every track this car is performing. 

Another week of Porsche cup, they knew what they were doing, easiest car to drive and the best overall, perfect for casual, I went to a friend's house and tried his rig while playing LMU, coming back to this was kinda sad

I got brake checked last night and it cost me 3.5 secs. Dude was in 3rd and I was pushing him down the straight to try a catch up to the 2 in front and he braked checked me for "ramming him".

People need to understand bump drafting isn't ramming and if you work together it helps to gain places. Obviously cannon balling someone at the braking zone is not bump drafting 

Great race, the AMG is a strong choice here as well if you're looking to break out of the Porsche cycle. But please PD, some variable weather and time of day changes. Gets boring racing in sunny clear skies for 7 days

I love the flow of this track. It does suit to my driving style.

100% agree.  Unless it's an "S" rated driver, I assume they're going to drive with "D" rating behavior regardless of what the rating says on the screen (and even S-drivers don't always keep it clean). Just my opinion, but I think PD really needs to increase the severity of their in-race penalty system with regards to car-to-car contact, and the SR rating system could use a refresh because it's way too easy to get to "S" and still drive like a monster.

Sometimes I feel like the safety rating doesn't mean anything in this game. There are some people who know how to game the system so they can get away with this stuff without losing their rating. Maybe dg edge should develop an external driver rating based on the race incident report channel on discord since polyphony isn't doing anything. Just throwing the idea out there, maybe it sticks despite being really impractical.

because their feelings get hurt and they don't have enough driving skill to pass you back properly, so yeeting you off track is their only option. it happened to me 20,000x last week at Spa and 100,000x at Road Atlanta 🤬

Another Porsche Cup Daily, Spa and Audi was an exception for Daily B last week, dailies are too short, we had few 1h daily like Spa and then they decided that we need 5 laps around Tsukuba in ford fiesta, I always try to motivate myself to do daily but 90% it's one make and races are too short "5 laps" like wtf? Lobbies are better for 5 laps, at least we choose different track every race. 10 laps around Suzuka? Cool do they have more tracks in rotation or just 5? Groups are all over the place like GR.2 includes 3 different types of cars from different era, u not getting this balanced, same as GR.1, forget dailies and find private leagues, 100% better. Trash!

Wish it was Gr2 or 1

Got a 2:01:803 with the Swift. DR gains where huge but SR one you get to DR C is taking a dive though. Why do people ram you off the road when they get passed?

I haven't gotten any rain races, so unfortunately I don't think that's happening. It would've made this race a lot better as the strategy is very simple, and in the 992 there isn't even much tyre saving to do :(

Has anyone tried this track in ffs? I love the ff gr4s but last week they were terrible at Trial Mountain, so I would like to know how they do here. 

I haven't done one of the races yet since they just started but does anyone know if it might rain here like in the gt2 race?

I am asking ts because I can cook in the rain.

I'm pretty sure it's because they just can't tell which car it would be. I would imagine that if they knew it would definitely be on the website

I was trying everything. First of all, as usually, my controller lap time is 3-4 sec slower then the top. In every lobby I started 9th or worst. Just because the gap between my ant the 1-5 places in lobby was 2 sec difference was impossible to reach higher positions just because in this case you are starting from the "bus stop"if in front of me was no idiotic driver group. It means with stable races, no mistakes just driving my level and capabilities I only lost driver rating. Congratulations for the programming team. Why putting drivers with so big differences in to the lobby? Why not racing drivers on same level? Just with times in second together, for example. Never mind, maybe next week will be better and will gain back those 10000 DR points 😳🥺😬😭
