DReplying to DYNK_DYNK·Thanks for taking the time to help - that's really great advice and totally makes sense. Racing is a different thing entirely and I'm not sure if I'm cut out for it. I'm always worried l'Il make a mistake passing and wreck us both thus ruining someo…
Nothing wrong with driving conservatively, I do it too. I'm almost too generous with the space I give other drivers and it usually ends up costing me a position but I don't want to be the driver ruining everybody else's races. (instead they run me off the road and I finish last) 😂 No but seriously, it takes time to learn to maneuver through the field and around slower or unpredictable drivers. Luc Elliot (formerly Luc Nodaro) gives great advice in his YouTube videos on how to manage race traffic - highly recommend to check him out if you haven't already.
Why the hell do they *always* run this track in reverse with GT3 cars? Especially right now—after the 24-hour race—I want to drive the track in the normal direction! I was genuinely thrilled when I saw the race listed in the menu, but then I was bitterly disappointed when I realized that, once again, it’s only available in reverse.
Biggest bullshit I've seen all week regardless of what happens the rest of the week
Don't forget getting penalties when people fuck up the chicane and you can't miss them.

Why reverse 🤮 ?? We had it recently as well. Would have been the perfect time for the 24h layout
PD have dropped the ball so hard on this one 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
AAReplying to Alex alex401·A bit late given we changed races but if you're consistant at doing top 1000 times you'll go to B rating quickly. Focus on getting S SR first - work on the situational awareness- where are the other cars and how they drive and adapt your speed. Becau…

I'm always worried l'Il make a mistake passing and wreck us both thus ruining someone else's race. Unfortunately, that leads me to driving very conservatively.
KDReplying to Knoxy89 DK·Agree, just as they had the 24h on at the weekend, should have done that track layout. i notice the fastest time this week is 3 seconds faster than 2nd place and 15 seconds faster than 10th place.. i sense some exploit going on
It's just bc people are not going to try hard on the worst track of the game
Dragon trail again with the same meta wow
This is beyond stupid
This race rappresent sport mode, official sponsor of the 24h of the ring, posts on Instagram about cars that are not in the game, one lap race in reverse, they smoking good stuff in pd

DReplying to DYNK_DYNK·Hahaha thanks for the tip 😂 I only did two daily races in GT Sport and qualified first on both. My first race I took off and never looked back. The second race I had a guy t-bone me into the sand at turn 1 of Sardegna probably going 120mph 🤷🏻♂️

Because you already have raw speed, the more car and situation control you have, the easier it will be to climb the ladder

If you've qualified that high in the global standings, my guess is you'll be a mile ahead of the field by the end of lap 1 🤣 so you should get a really clean race, and cars that you'll be lapping will be ghosted so you don't even have to worry about…

FUCK THIS UNDRIVABLE TRACK

If you've qualified that high in the global standings, my guess is you'll be a mile ahead of the field by the end of lap 1 🤣 so you should get a really clean race, and cars that you'll be lapping will be ghosted so you don't even have to worry about manuvering around them. Or -- pull off to the side at the start of the race, wait for the entire field to go past you so they can crash themselves in turns 1 & 3 and then you can drive through the mess and still finish on the podium.
I've only completed the qualifying so far, and my focus in GT7 is mainly on time attacks through weekly time trials and in cases like this to see how I compare on the qualifying leaderboard. I was thinking about trying some races and wondering if the 4C is as quick when other cars are on the track. I've only done a few races in GT Sport and noticed that the meta in qualifying doesn't always carry over to race day.
I'm currently hovering around #1,000 in the qualifying. With my E rating, I'd maybe be in pole and could hopefully gap folks if I don't get pushed off the track in turn 1 but who knows. What's the situation with this one? Does the 4C still perform well in the race? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
