if it was always RS everyone would get gold. Different tire combo's means you actually have to learn how the car handles without having the optimum grip. It separates the drivers from the racers
I have to disagree with you there. With better tires, the world-record time is naturally much faster, and achieving a "gold" time remains just as challenging. Personally, I find it more enjoyable to drive with better tires; even after securing a gold, I’m motivated to try for even faster times. In this race here, I didn’t run any further laps.

Would be great fun to drive, if not T1 was such a lottery - get it slightly wrong, be it angle, break pressure or steering angle and your lap is over before it even started 😡
The first corner is a doozy. Had to view Hollys replay to work it out
